Crane[一品高升]

According to ancients times, a bird called the red-crowned crane is endowed with the meaning of longevity, auspiciousness, and elegance. It has a beautiful body shape, especially its slender beak, neck, and legs.

During the ancient times, the civil officials would have embroidered pictures of cranes and birds on their clothes, the cranes were called “Yipin Birds”. And the patterns of those cranes were always flying up into the auspicious clouds. Having a crane embroidered on your clothing also meant that you have reached the highest rank.

古人常说的“仙鹤”其实就是丹顶鹤，鹤被赋予长寿、吉祥、高雅的寓意，体型美观，尤其是喙、颈、腿细长，直立时，高可及人，看上去既精雅又高贵。

在古代，一品文官会在衣服上绣鹤鸟图，鹤被称为“一品鸟”。也是出于这方面的原因，仙鹤在祥云中飞翔的图案，意思是“一品高升”。
